If your child faces school discipline, including expulsions and suspensions, we can inform you of your rights and help you protect her or him. We advocate for students at disciplinary hearings, at subsequent administrative proceedings and in appeals taken appeals to the Connecticut Superior Court.

We have represented students facing discipline for possession of drugs or weapons at school and for alleged behaviors on and off campus, including, without limitation, assaulting a staff member, drug use, fighting, truancy, bullying and harassment. 

We can also help with associated criminal charges, whether they are pending in Criminal Court, on the Youthful Offender Docket or the in the Juvenile Court. 

We will help your student and family address any service needs and strive to achieve the most favorable resolution of the issues while minimizing the impact of the incident on the student’s school and criminal records.
